We're seeing it in movie credits and books, we have to start putting it on things we make and pressuring others to label their work as human made, and normalize that as much as we can, I think.

We really need to double down on outwardly stating our work does not contain AI.

One year ago today was “The Sefton Sparkler” tour, giving the 507s a fine farewell on the Northern Line.
Although some 507s continued for another few weeks, this was the final time 507001 moved under its own power… for now.

Sunday Mass - adding some necessary weight to the printed NG15 body with weights I’ve cast with ‘liquid lead’ embedded in resin to fill the cavernous empty space in the smokebox and firebox . Now weighs +100g. The extra weight has smoothed out the running as well.

Yes, I'd love to see someone walk up to one of those numpties who turn up dressed as crusaders in their hand knitted chainmail & point out that they're dressed as Norman knights, who crossed the channel in small boats & actually *did* invade the country bringing their own language & culture!

It is! There's a "language" you need to learn, how running gear (wheels and couplers) work, and standard details present in most equipment vary by world region and era, so knowing that helps a lot too.

When he was told he'd be carried via lorry to the standard-gauge railway, Duke felt almost ashamed. However, he quickly found Madge to be good company. She carried him to the junction with ease, and the two quickly struck up rather amicable conversation - even though Duke hadn't been up to it at first.
Madge filled Duke in on all that she could while they made their way alongside the miniature railway, and just how excited Sir Handel and Peter Sam must've been to see their old friend again.
Duke was soon loaded onto a flatbed where one of the Scottish Twins would be taking him the rest of the way. The miniature engines came to see him off, and Madge gave him a final wish of good luck before setting off.
