We’re making the arm/leg harnesses in a fashion that’s going to be based around English style plate, so a lot of barley twist fluting on the rerebraces, cuisses etc., he’s already made a couple of pieces with that type of fluting so should turn out great ^^

We mostly did our own thing with this (the front strap is more common on German armour), but the biggest reference we used was of Robert Hungerford’s effigy, which is one of the few pictorial examples of 15th c. English plate. No real, physical English plate of this period is known to have survived.
