I've talked about my problems reading paper books due to vision issues before. Found a signed copy of a book I have been wanting to read for a while the other day & it's hard to read. This is where my Magna Pro led magnifier saves the day giving the assistance I need in an easy to use tool!

Time to fill out the Kansas City Resident Survey to let KCMO know what I think of their services and state of the city.

I just got my copy, can't wait to read it as Kansas City goes to war with cars by installing a whopping 60 lane miles of bike lanes out of 6,000 lane miles! @thewaroncars.bsky.social

Today was lovely to ride bikes and shop for others. We had a great turnout as hundreds showed up to the event. We even set a new money donation record. Food donation numbers will come later! #CranksgivingKC

Riding the new cycle track, looks nice!

For all the bitching & moaning about road diets & bike lanes, something I never hear is drivers complaining about on street parking taking away traffic lanes. Case in point, Meyer Blvd is 4 kane but effectively 2 lanes due to all the parking. Also everyone here has massive driveways, why park here?

Elderly man hits woman from behind on multi-use trail in Leawood.

Even separated walking trails aren't safe from car!

We all know Kansas City BBQ is the best, but you can slow down and park before placing your order! Guess this driver couldn't wait to get some LC's BBQ!

I fear the World Cup will be to KC what the Olympics were to Athens, a massive economic drain and a wealth transfer to the global rich.

Will footing the bill for the global rich to come party be worth the cost? Only time with tell!

There were also work rooms, a larger shared common area and game room, a community kitchen and programmed social activities daily.

Could hostel/boarding house style housing be one of the fixes for housing affordability and the loneliness epidemic? Just spent a week at HI Hostel in Chicago In a small room with a shared common area, kitchen and bath & it was quite nice. Could we house thousands with dignity this way?

@raygunsite.com didn't make this without reason!

I think this response by a man to a woman perfectly sums up why so many men are being left behind. So many are willingly choosing not to adapt but to lash out further alienating them from women and society at large.

Adapt or become irrelevant men!

While The DuSable Museum of African American History is being renovated, they still have a few wonderful exhibitions worth seeing.

Took the #4 bus there & #3 back which was wonderful because MLK Jr Blvd has so many amazing brownstones to view!

I love book shopping in Chicago. My go to are Myopic, Pilson Community Books and Exile in Bookville. Who else should I check out?
