I had forgotten all the "oh my girlfriend made me see it" bs, I am just very anti-hype. I had ONE friend who agreed to also never see it, and he went BY HIMSELF to an ACTUAL THEATER to see it, so I'm not buying the chick flick allegations.

I had to check, and 1994 was True Lies, also the last Cameron film I've seen. Maybe the rest all have the same cultural impact in that if you say "I've never seen Titanic/Avatar/whatever" people gasp and say "HOW???"
