Not only does violence have a place here, but we’ve carved out a giant chasm for it to exist in our midst.

Just think about that for a second. That tells you all you need to know. He has no intention of leaving!! He tried it before, going as far as staging a violent insurrection, but this time, he will leave nothing to chance.
