I'm reading John Truby's The Anatomy of Genres, and something I hadn't considered, which he talks about in the first dozen or so pages, is that genres are like the writer's recipe for good living, and the beats that are common to the genre are like the ingredients.

When i was 16, i was really into classic rock, so i only listened to new stuff on the radio.
I didn't know of Explosions in the Sky until about 2011ish, but All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone came out in 2007, when I was 16. This is absolutely a perfect album to me, and EItS is of my all-time faves

I could wax poetically about correlation to Emily Dickinson and the Dickinsian use of sensory verbs and dashes, but short answer is: the phrase almost never correlates to sight at all.

It is VERY funny that people will say "commander is built on restrictions, and restrictions breed creativity, but the game designers would do better with fewer restrictions" in the same breath.
"It would give designers more flexibility" is not a good argument for changing the hybrid mana philosophy in a fan created format and I wish we'd stop treating it like it is.
