As part of my PhD at York St John University, I'm seeking participants who are happy to be interviewed online sharing their story and experience of Inclusive Church in the Church of England! Please get in touch for more details or if your interested in participating

Text: LGBTQ+ experience of Church of England Inclusive Churches: Participants needed.

My name is Sophie Day (she/they) and I am a PhD student at York St John University. For my PhD, I am researching the experiences of LGBTQ+ people who currently worship in Church of England churches that can be found on the Inclusive Church directory via the Inclusive Church website.

The research is open to anyone aged 18+ who is LGBTQ+ and currently worships at a Church of England Inclusive Church.

This research project has been approved by York St University's School of Humanities Ethics Committee. All research undertaken will be within the university's guidelines.

Text: what will the research entail?

I will be holding online interviews. The interview is an opportunity to raise anything you feel is important, however, below are some areas of interest:

Your story- how you became involved in your Church.
How attending an Inclusive Church impacted you.
How you feel Inclusive Church has shaped your church and church community.

The British government’s recognition of the State of Palestine is a huge victory after decades of campaigns.

Ultimately, this decision means nothing unless they recognise the ongoing genocide in Gaza, end arms sales to Israel, and comply with all ICC/ICJ investigations.
