🔎We're Seeking Peer Reviewers🔍

Ahead of the launch of our first issue, we're seeking people who are interested in peer reviewing articles! Full training will be provided, with out next training day on the 3rd December via Teams. Please email us at [email protected] for details.

Text: We are excited to announce we are inviting PGRs to join our team of Peer Reviewers. Being a Peer Reviewer allows you to gain insight into the publishing process, develop reviewing skills, and contribute to our postgraduate research community. Full training will be provided, so no experience is necessary. We just need your enthusiasm for critically and constructively engaging with the work of your peers within the School of Humanities! Our next training day is 3rd December. The session will be online from 1pm to 2:30pm.

📣We are seeking 'Research in Progress' contributions!

Ahead of the launch of our first issue, entitled 'Origins', in May 2026, we are seeking submissions of yet to be complete research. If you're a Postgraduate Researcher at York St John University, we would love to hear from you!

Research in progress submissions allow post graduate researchers to share the earlier stages of their projects, or updates on research, that are not yet complete. They are a great way to open up dialogue, share early reflections, find feedback, and seek potential collaborators. We do not have a set word count for research in progress submissions. Text: Submissions process. Find our full submissions guide on our website: blog.yorksj.ac.uk/curiositasjournal. If you think your submission will exceed 5000 words, please email us in advance to let us know at: curiositasjournal@yorksj.ac.uk. Referencing must be done in Chicago Author-Date style. Submissions must be sent by 1st January 2026 and must be sent from a York St John University email address as, at this time, we are only accepting submissions from York St John students.
