It can be changed. Corporations are created by state laws. It would take every state to revise their laws to state that corporations are formed as business entities to operate as a business. They are not entitled to the same rights as humans, specifically the right to buy elections as free speech.

And yet, knowing this, the Supreme Court gave corporations, who are devoid of empathy, the same rights as people. Their only purpose is to make money and shield their owners from liability. They exist in devotion to golden calf.
