Sadly, my photography is extremely rarely for money, so a good used copy was the way to go. It is such a fun lens. Yeah, low light but also in bright sunshine, I shoot it wide open just to get that extremely narrow depth of field.

I saw a 56mm f1.2 used a couple of years ago, and I just had to jump at it. Fantastic for my gig photography (small venues), where I need to squeeze every last bit of light.
