Just another Friday on the Ancient Continent!
What did you explore today? 🤠

Since the last updates, chests are now visible on the map if you've seen them once before!

Keep your eyes opened 😼

Fellow #gamedev -ers, learn from my mistakes and put all your projects into repos (be it github, gitlab, etc), even if it's a test or prototype or art, etc. Losing a drive and all that work from the past few years is miserable.

Yeah, let's see if we can make this movement feel better before moving to the next ability... *6 hours later* #gamedev #solodev

Fellow devs- I'm curious what your go-to is when you need #pixelart for your game? DIY, Fiverr, someone you know, recommended pixel artist, etc? #gamedev #solodev

#gym goers, instead of being annoyed by all the #newyears #resolution attendees, embrace and encourage them- this may be their first time, and they need a good impression to be consistent.

Question for all the #gamejam -ers; do you create a helpful library of utils to speed up the process of future jams? If so, what sort of scripts? #gamedev

It’s really hard to overstate how useless of a tool this is for game dev

Level design is a deliberate, iterative process which requires careful design decisions at every step

Bet it’s a fun, little shiny toy for investors though. Bet this’ll make them soooo excited

We're chasing realism in games, but sometimes a simple 8-bit story hits harder than 4K graphics ever could.

Anybody else make a cool prototype for a jam that has potential, only to do nothing with it? #gamedev #gamejam #indiedev

Ever get hit with a mixup so good you pause the game and just look at the other player? #fgc

I need to do more #gamejam. I always have fun and am generally proud of the results, it's just hard to go at it solo consistently- and the two times I've tried external groups, they all abandon. #gamedev

I've been using my first decent camera, a FujiFilm, for about three weeks now. After seeing the photography on here, I realized I have no idea what I'm doing. Is it normal to have 2-3 good shots out of 200 photos taken? #photography
