Good piece. In contrast here is a screenshot of seat availability in my section of the south stand for tonight's 8pm kick-off. Available seats in colour. And you can't buy them unless you have a membership, min cost £45, and seats costs £62.50. There's a message there, clubs won't listen though

Let's not forget Reform's targeting children with special needs. Acute lack of resources for some of our most vulnerable children, but no, problem is over-diagnosis and other children feeling left out. One solution - ban neurodiverse children from wearing ear defenders in school. Utterly disgusting

Mornings flickering through the doom and gloom on the Guardian app enlivened by the Amazon ads tailspinning out of control. Obviously process of elimination before they get text and pic to match.

Spurs merch in time for Christmas includes a "collapsible laundry bin", a reminder presumably that with Spurs you're never that far away from a collapse, and a 'First Words with Spurs' bathbook. Not clear what baby Spurs fan's first words will be. Mate? Forward? How much?!?

Agree especially with this section. Strategic naivety - no idea how to achieve their goals, always aim to have a seat at the top table without pushing on for success

Thank you for the idea. Could truly identify with that lovely piece, except I'm (probably) twice your age so have been failing to enjoy reading for twice as long. So here's what shall be known henceforth as the Reading Chair

I've written, today and in the past, about how price rises erode fans' resilience and goodwill, which ultimately doesn't help the atmosphere and the team. Board ignore this aspect of support when taking their decisions.
