Finished 2024 with a particularly excellent DJ gig in Colchester Arts Centre. That was a lot of fun.

Spotify wrapped, where in my first full year of WFH I racked up a stupid number of minutes. Absolutely baffled how that Bat for Lashes track is at number 2 though. Last.fm has it at number 19.

Today’s post-work listen is Little Queen by Heart. Picked this up in a charity shop on the way home from the office today. Been after it for a while so happy to pay a premium charity shop price of £12 for it.

Post-work listening is the debut album by Discharge, after reading this 👇 excellent essay while my kids were at climbing club. Still not exactly my cup of tea TBH, but Free Speech For The Dumb is a prescient banger and apt soundtrack for the Twitter/BlueSky transition.
