Zohran proved that protecting trans people is winning policy. His entire campaign wasn't just protecting trans people, but Democrats act like protecting trans people will lose them elections, meanwhile Zohran won handily with one of his major policy positions being protection of trans people.

There are at least three possible scenarios that may emerge as a shift in US priorities reshapes multilateralism. First, in some situations, as in the example above, the US may merely step back while other member states step forward and attempt to fill the funding or leadership gaps left by the US's absence. Such comparatively straightforward scenarios may even leave open the possibility for new kinds of arrangements that speak more meaningfully to the Global South's interests, as with the Pandemic Treaty. In this situation, major private-sector or civil society organizations within the US might continue to participate in multilateral arrangements, as we saw after the US withdrawal from the Paris Agreement during the first Trump presidency.*””

Yes please. None of that weak “we’re looking forward not backward” bullshit that Obama preached or the hands off approach that Biden took so as not to appear too political. They let a party of criminals off the hook and now we seemed surprised that they are robbing, kidnapping, and killing us.
