Jason X is one of my favorite movies (still excited about the 4k I got earlier this year) and this is a perfect summation of why: it commits to the high concept, even when (especially when?) it barely makes sense. It ends up being uproariously fun, imo

I really believe in my heart that any executive cancelling his projects is being very shortsighted. He tends to work on titles that for whatever reason take on an evergreen quality.

THANK YOU. I saw folks complaining about the eurogamer review that I referenced (because of the modern obsession with review scores,) but for me it’s very straightforward? The game clearly undercuts its own message and narrative with how it presents itself. Weak.

Yeah, there are facets of the game that I am interested in, but nothing that overcomes how put off I am by the use of GenAI
