I don't know when it happened, but at some point I switched from being disappointed by a person's twattery to being pleasantly surprised by their menschiness. I'm not happy about that, though. It's not great to live with such low expectations for people.

This is why MAGA is desperate to lower the age to criminally charge kids as adults to 14. They want to say 14 YO girls are adults & can legally consent. It's what underpins Megyn Kelly's obscene comments on TV last week. That it would allow them to put BIPOC boys in prison is just a bonus to them.

Repubs want a complete authoritarian state. How is that not clear to YOU? It's sad to see that you have zero understanding that appeasement never works. The only 2 choices we have are to hold the line or give up & let them control every aspect of our lives, in which case people will starve anyway.

TBF, women did ruin the workplace for misogynistic, entitled, mediocre men. Men who aren't any of those things didn't have a problem with us and even welcomed us. I know, shocker. Having worked for a Big 4 firm in the past, I encountered both but fortunately more of the latter than the a-holes.
