Anarchy NoVa was such a blast and I am so happy I went for so many reasons. My only experience with lans have been riptide and ltc so to be a part of something that's a lot more smaller and tight knit was really fun! I got to see so many friends again that I wouldn't have been able to for another

I reject the notion that "practicing down" is a waste of time.
For example, when you practice around the same level or better, teams usually focusing on winning.
Playing against weaker teams allows you to focus on how to KO and how to setup for big pushes. Or experiment with new ideas/gameplans.
