in the last months of 2025, my graphics tablet which I only had for 6 months at that time, failed.. I managed to get a refund thanks to helpful staff, but this left me with little options.

It's funny how we've colloquially accepted 'Talons' to fill a plot hole in our communal lexicon.
Can't call them bird feet because we have a purely fictional existence of bird 'feet' strong enough that its use overrides our factual understanding. But nor are they talons, not as far as we call'em.
