Every 20 minutes, someone in the UK is hit by an uninsured or hit-and-run driver. Four of the top ten postcodes for uninsured drivers is in Birmingham. We need to see action on tackling this and the many other dangers on our city's roads.

Girls' use of parks drops after the age of 11. At a time when they should be gaining independence, many girls start to avoid parks.

Why? They feel that parks aren’t for them - there is nothing to do. Also, many state they don’t feel safe.

Our parks & open spaces volunteering figures for April 2024–March 2025 are in!

An amazing 106,410 hours were logged, that’s the equivalent of £1,340,766 (based on the Real Living Wage of £12.60/hr).
