Oh that’s good to know! I hope other metalsmiths happen see the list and follow some of those folks. Though not many are posting much these days. To be fair, I’m not either. Took a break for a gazillion reasons reasons. But I’ll get back to my bench soon.

Good to hear. I stumble upon a starter pack every now and then, and some are helpful for sure! Do you happen to know if there’s any way to search for starter packs with specific interests or regions? I assembled a “metalsmiths” list for myself. Not sure if anyone else can see it?

Do you think it would help if we were to find likeminded artisans and create a feed, so that we can better find and support one another? For example, SciArt is one of my favorite feeds. They seem to have it going on over there! Relatively, anyway 🙂

Same. I’m finding it difficult or impossible to build creative cohorts or local followings here. I don’t want to go back to instagram, but I miss the support and connections over there. Open to suggestions!

For whatever reason, people tend to like and repost mean and snarky things, especially when it's involving politics. Which probably explains why there seems to be so much of that here. I make a conscious attempt to do the opposite, but it's sometimes difficult. And obviously not very popular.
