Continuity Corbyn hipster analyst. He/him
Don't think this checks out, Trump and MAGA quite clearly see a lot of their own voters as marks and it's not harmed them.

And while the OP is being cynical about this kind of policy sweetener, it does act as a clear tangible benefit for a policy where the real benefits are not so obvious.

Possibly because I'm old, but isn't this just reverting cash ISAs to what they were before the Tories jacked up the allowances? A tax free vessel for *some* of your saving.

You could always put the rest in a regular savings account.

I do not care about an EDM he signed years ago, it's over such a trivial issue that it doesn't matter. We have a prime minister who is guilty of war crimes, I think that should be far more disqualifying than a trivial EDM.

Have you somehow missed out on the leaked report, the Forde report, The Labour files, Pogrund & Maguire's book, Anushka Athsana's book and of course Paul Holden's book?

If you think Corbyn failed because he was "thick" rather than an orchestrated campaign against him you are extremely naive.

So what's your issue here exactly? It's an insightful post with some very good points about the official poverty line metric.

Do you genuinely want to understand why people are angry or not? Or would it mean admitting that those uppity Marxists you hate so much have a point?

You are a child and understand nothing.

More nonsense that I really can't be bothered to relitigate suffice to say that it's clear that the "antisemitism problem" was a McSweeney astroturf campaign.

That's complete and utter nonsense, you've invented an image of Corbyn that only exists in your own head.

Did you not witness what happened when the left had power from 2015-2019. Corbyn made plenty of compromises with the right only to have a response orders of magnitude more vicious than the left's angry shouting.

Cape Verde, not a huge amount culturally but the beaches are gorgeous and the weather is great.

It's basically a sleight of hand that replaces "highly paid workers" with "the rich".
