A page from issue 2 of the Rocket (2017) solo series by Al Ewing. it features Rocket Raccoon in an alien court of law, who is being represented by an Echomelian from Everett-5 who have echo senses that allow them to read things like heartbeats from a distance. he is being represented by Murd Blurdock, the only Echomelian who can see, thanks to a childhood accident. it's clear this is just reverse daredevil. further cementing that this is reverse daredevil, an alien in an elektra outfit shows up at court with a sign that says 'COME FIGHT NINJAS' and murd blurdock runs off

an edit of the box art to Another World/Out Of This World, where the title has been replaced with SPACETWINKS REC THREAD and in the background art, my fursona - a pink kangaroo in black hat and matching clothes - looks back on over the main characters. the Interplay logo has been replaced by one saying 'Kangaroo'. on a green sticker at the bottom left states: You would not believe how much we loved video games about rotoscoped twinks who would just die on contact with anything at all back in the day. It was an international phenomenon, honestly.

some statements from carper and coons on that at the time. they talk about how they do support $15 minimum wage but unfortunately the circumstance being what they are, yadda yadda. and that they will continue working on a process to eventually get there.

we see none of that process. it's hidden.
"I have backed a $15 minimum wage on the federal level for years," Carper said in a statement after the vote. "At a time when our economy is still slowly recovering, though, policymakers have a responsibility to be especially mindful of the fragile state of small businesses all across this country – many of which are fighting just to stay open during this unprecedented crisis." Carper promised he will work with Congress to create "a sustainable path forward" to raise the minimum wage and tipped wage. In his own statement, Coons did not explain exactly why he voted against the proposal. He also supports raising the minimum wage to $15 gradually over time. According to his spokesman, Coons is concerned about how Sanders' measure, in particular, would hurt small businesses. “Every Democrat and many Republicans agree that the federal minimum wage of $7.25 is too low and has been for too long," Coons said. "It has to be raised. President Biden has called for us to raise it to $15 an hour. I will work with my colleagues on legislation to raise the minimum wage and index it annually."

this passage is what caught me. when talking about these things, i like to come in giving full benefit of the doubt to dig at the greater problems. let's take it on faith that, behind the scenes, mcbride is working her ass off here. no snark, let's choose to believe it.

there's still a problem.
But according to sources I've spoken with, McBride has been a driving force behind the scenes in keeping the caucus together on key vote after key vote in this congress. One that has been hellbent on torturing trans people with ever more sadistic restrictions on our freedom.
