Sourdough discard crackers! Added ingredients: nutritional yeast, mixed herbs, chilli powder, poppy seeds, cumin and brushed with chilli oil plus Himalayan pink salt and ground black pepper. I used Marriage’s very strong Canadian white flour. #sourdough #crackers #baking #canadian

A sprinkling of snow here today - time to make more Christmas mince pies (with a crumble topping). After many years of trying to get my pastry right, I think I’ve cracked it - 8oz plain flour, 2oz lard, 2oz spreadable Lurpak, 2 floz water, whizz in the food processor. #baking #christmas

Seeded sourdough bagels out of the oven. Boiled then baked for 12 minutes. I used a Colorado starter, home milled Emmer and black flour, home milled pulses, sage, seaweed, lemon zest, very strong white Canadian flour plus mixed seeds.

I just went to the fridge and was struck by how colourful the 2 cross sections of my pizza wrapped in cling film looked. I made 2 large pizzas earlier, cut them into 6 and then froze the majority. Easy tea with a salad for another night. #sourdough #bread #breadsky #pizza
