having to unlock characters in older tekken games is such a shitty "feature". being forced to play tekken 5's unbalanced story mode 10(?) times just to play as heihachi on a new save isn't "rewarding" or "replay value", it's painfully annoying. (although having to pay for him in 8 is somehow worse)
