I make games. Currently working in software QA professionally, developing games on the side. Open to working together.

https://soup-wizard.itch.io/ - Mostly jam submissions with more serious projects on the way
Finally felt a surge of motivation to make some 3D assets. Basic dungeon tiles made with lazy textures/normal maps.

Added detail and made the idle & walk animation for the 2D wizard. Enjoy this borderline-too fast time lapse of the process! I'm sure these will see changes in the future.

Small change and I think it's already much better.

It's taken so long but I finally feel like I have a real asset on my hands. I've redone this one so many times over the last couple weeks trying to get it right. Asset is being made for a game loosely inspired by the gameplay loop of Kingdom: Two Crowns.

I suppose you could say it has some bugs.

Time-lapse of the last game jam asset animation, then to add it in Godot and implement the last bit of game logic, hopefully.

I'm not at all suggesting to stop using blender, but BlockBench might be worth checking if you're new to 3D and just need some quick low-poly stuff. As for learning Blender, Joey Carlino on YouTube is amazing. I learned some great practices from him, like using the skin mod to make people like this:

Will you eat the soup?

#gamedev assets for a #godot project I'm working on, all made by me in #blockbench and #blender

I have no business trying to make music. To any participants of #tobujam or #1buttonjam, please forgive me.

#gamejam submission is moving as steadily as Godot-bot here, working on a basic rhythm game with bug-like music to match the theme. More assets created and more on the way.

Where are you going???

#gamejam submission is looking promising, here's hoping the momentum doesn't end before the submissions end!

Me: Proud of the work I've put in, feeling confident that I can finish something decent for this #gamejam
#Godot: Ready to humble me.

Created in #blockbench for #tobujam & #1buttonjam
#gamedev is dangerous. It's so much better than sleep, I am tired.

Had a revelation yesterday and solved my UI issues, now I can stop thinking about it. Not only is it simplified, but it scales perfectly with capacity increases! Bonus: You can now drain the boogers.

Also, why is every platforms upload cap 50 mb when I just need 1.7 more, please?

#blender is my first love, but #blockbench isn't bad at all. It's great for low poly work where you don't need the fancy QOL features Blender offers.

Does anyone else miss when VG assets were bouncy like this? Made for a game I'll be developing solo.

I don't have the patience to watch a 3 minute video, but I have the patience to change random numbers around for 7 hours.

Rough draft for UI is done, now for the part that should have come first: Figuring out an actual gameplay loop.

Finally working as expected. Player movement no longer causes the spores to explode from the container.

From a solo project I am working on, IcanHazMat.

Suck entities in this game about hazardous materials. Currently in early stages of development.
