I have been holding on to this chestpiece for so long, but it never worked for dancer. But now it works for reaper quite nicely. Especially for where D'lagan is at mentally right now.

Nova is making steady progress through msq, he's happy to see his Oronir brothers again... although I'm not sure what he did to earn the Magnai staredown. Maybe for being away so long?
A mix of different Steppe Au Ra idling about inside the palace in Ala Mhigo, Magnai and Sadu included. Nova is also dressed in the yellow of his Oronir brothers, and standing with them.

I wrote about D'lagan's matchmaker shenanigans during xivwrite2014. Here's a lil snippit of D'lagan's reasoning about it.
“Are you certain this was the best way to handle things?” Alphinaud peered curiously at D’lagan as the pair sat out on the benches on the furthest end of the docks that stretched along the For’ard Cabins.  “No,” D’lagan answered honestly, watching the distant yol and the pair riding the sea breezes atop it.  “Then why–” “I was never going to make Koana happy,” D’lagan interrupted, before Alphinaud could complete the thought. “I can’t stay forever. I don’t want to stay forever. I’ll break his heart over and over or worse. After what he’s been through, he deserves someone that will stay close and not leave him feeling abandoned all the time.” “I see… So you think your Oronir friend is better suited, then?” D’lagan glanced to the moon, just beginning to peek over the waters as evening fully set in. “If they give each other a chance, he won’t find anyone more dependable.”

This is on Q'hahtoa, my first character, who I continued to log into intermittently over the years, even if I didn't get fully into FFXIV until I made D'lagan and WoW lost its chokehold on me.

Sami'a was the vendor during the 2022 All Saint's Wake that I decided to adopt and now he's free to explore as he pleases (and why he hasn't been seen working since). Malrin ended up enamored with heroes and the praise they earn and tries really hard to be heroic, even if he doesn't quite get how.

Because it's on my mind now, have one of the little snippets I wrote for a FFXIVwrite prompt a couple years back regarding the relationship between S'eri and S'aen. The "trouble" S'eri is referring to is the fact that S'aen often took out all his aggression on D'lagan. S'aen makes excuses about it.
The lion’s den. That was what he called this place, tucked deep within the craggy cliffs his tribe called home. It was hot and reeked of dust, sunlight blazing and baking over the crack. To either side, sisters swept away from his gaze, making their point well-known. He was not welcome here. No, not he, a reminder of the old ways. Cerulean eyes closed for a moment, then glanced down to his little companion, a bright spot of yellow that dared to compete with the sun with its radiance. It stared back up at him, waiting for the command that would send it to battle. S’aen shook his head. Not this time. He took a few steps further, into the place he hated most. “Put it away, brother,” came the demand, the moment he ducked under the heavy cloth that covered the door to the Nunh's home. “You and I both know what will happen if you challenge me.” Draped across his plush rugs and cushions, the half-dressed Nunh didn’t even bother to stand, or properly greet. He regarded the Tia, golden gaze harsh, and judgmental.  S’aen glared back, but obeyed, midnight tail behind him thrashing and giving away his agitation as the carbuncle squeaked its dismay, and disappeared in a puff of aether and sparkles. The gold softened. “I’ve received word you’ve been harassing people in the city, again,” S’eri’s tone shifted from demanding, to concerned, his low baritone easily filling the room, despite the many soft adornments that covered nearly every surface in some fashion. “Why do you insist on causing us trouble?” “It isn’t trouble,” S’aen started with a roll of his eyes. “If you’d seen how bad it’s gotten there yourself, maybe you’d understand why I have to fight.” “You have one job, to secure our trade so that we might stand a chance of rebuilding after S’luma’s disastrous plan nearly obliterated us. Or have you forgotten?” S’eri rolled to his feet, the motion so fluid as to suggest the miqo’te were as much liquid as solid muscle. “Our sire died to secure our future, I will not see you waste it.” His face pulled into a snarl, pressed nearly to the taller miqo’te’s. S’aen drew back.  “We’re not the only ones driven to ruin,” he snapped back, ears folded down and disappearing into mussed raven hair. “Why can’t you see that? Why won’t you listen?”  “No, Aen, it is you who does not listen. Our sisters and daughters are thriving. We are growing again. Your stubborn refusal to accept change will continue to blind you to our successes. As long as you continue to believe in a flawed system of hate, you will never become more than what you are now.” He turned away, to flop back onto his comfortable bed, while S’aen stood there, seething.  “Release him from your heart, brother. Embrace your new role in this tribe, or forever remain the pawn of someone that will never give you the approval you so desperately seek.” He lifted a hand, waving him away, effectively dismissing him.  S’aen snarled, and turned on his heel, stomping out with a huff, ever resolved to usurp his seemingly soft and ignorant brother from his seat. S’eri simply watched him go, the gold of his eyes flashing in the low light.
