To be fair, the speculative one was a really old GIF originally from Sonic CulT. It hadn't been changed in years.
Cheers on updating it btw! Wish more people who point out outdated/incorrect information on a wiki would actually make the corrections themselves rather than just do nothing.

I did eventually get a custom Linux build of the Mania decomp installed, so I have that sorted out at least.

The Steam Deck's a really good machine, even if you have to do a LOT of tinkering with it to really make the most of it.
Since you went into troubles with Sonic Frontiers I ended up having issues with Sonic Mania. It worked fine for me until its sound driver stopped initialising properly one day.

Perhaps it's because they actually did something right with the Steam Deck compared to past hardware that they're going further with their hardware.
Given I've had a Deck for over half a year now it's a really good machine, but you'll be doing a LOT of tinkering with it to get the most out of it.
