I can kind of understand that. I'm always slightly disappointed when a player from the opposing team is chosen for one of the Stars, though I would never boo and you can almost always understand why they were chosen.

They're two things I sort of refuse to skimp on. I do buy decent coffee because that 1 (admittedly comically large) cup per day is my main luxury in life. But the TP thing. OMFG. I supposedly buy the mega rolls & I don't think I use an inordinate amount but a roll still only lasts a couple of days.

I am never going to not be bitter about this situation. If the Kraken had been improved in some way by the guys we have who are supposedly better than he is, I could live with it. But they aren't & they don't have anyone who brings to the team what he did.

I remember knowing people my age who, during the Cold War, didn't plan on ever having children and didn't really long-range plan because they thought "the bomb" could/would drop at any time & although I wasn't quite that much of a domesdayer, the possibility did always loom in your mind.
