Hope you like LA, ‘cause that’s what most of this is about. A lot of it will be baseball, a lot of that will be Dodgers. A certified nobody.
Ok, last one:

[Squints] “Which is the 37yo throwing 88mph coming off surgeries and which is the $200M man, again?”

Just saying…

Those are cool! I was pleasantly surprised to find these printed up and ready for duty at the stadium celebration Monday:

With the Tony Gonsolin era coming to an end in Los Angeles, I’ll just leave this right here:

Goodness gracious, we’re parade day plus one and *already* back to Dodger “concerns,” east-coast sports media?
November 4, 2025 at 4:38 PM
I am running out of time to post this so here goes:

Even if the Jays win the Series, John Schneider will never be the one, true John Schneider.

LOL, no. Gimme a break.

I can see how you’d want to stick with your quarterback and see how it goes but you’re probably not going to win without any coaching.

Freddy Peralta would make $8M for MIL in 2026. $8M. And every serious team trying to win would do it with an $8M Peralta. So I don’t want to hear about “the Dodgers spend too much how can we compete?” when Attanasio won’t spend $8M of his revenue-sharing checks on a 3+ WAR starting pitcher.

A snippet of Ken Rosenthal begging Mark Attanasio to let the Brewers spend more on players, July 2025:

“The Brewers can’t possibly compete with the Dodgers’ payroll. That’s why we ranked them #1 in our year-end Power Rankings.”

[Dodgers: third, behind…PHI]

Remember dumb stuff like this when people complain the Dodgers are ruining baseball:

Seems like an inefficient and much dumber way to say “I am mad my favorite team lost and I will literally die without your continued engagement on this blue check app.”

Oh, gfy, CNN.

Big “Sarajevo street argument gets contentious over Gavrilo Princip’s Austrian aristocracy stance” energy from this headline on CNN, a subsidiary of Warner Bros Discovery, owned by a number of investor billionaires.

I see, so the Governor of Illinois might have a hand in triggering a national crisis, and no national crisis would be conceivable otherwise. Thank you, CNN dot com, a division of CNN International, a subsidiary of Warner Bros Discovery, owned by the principals of multibillion-dollar investment firm.

No lie, I read this headline and immediately thought “it figures these two guys would try to use Ukraine as cover for some crooked billion-dollar cement caper.”

When do Strider and Acuña come back, again?
August 13, 2025 at 2:37 AM
I don’t particularly want to argue with Dodger fans on here or give anyone a bad time but, as constructively as I can put this, thinking stuff like this about a sports team coming off a championship and credibly striving for another is completely bonkers.
