I'm a big fan of non-serious, borderline stupid, top level domains for what are ostensibly serious ventures
A new website about PC games, from me, @brendyc.bsky.social and @jonhicks.com.

Reader-supported, which means no ads, no guff, and lots of games blogging about delightful things to play. If you liked our work on RPS, we think you'll like @jank.cool.

Saw a guy go to the grocery store yesterday, like two blocks away, in his indoor shorts and flipflops. It was like a -25 windchill at the time.
Canadians you are not prepared for the temperature he tells you he is experiencing here.

I didn't like Predator Badlands much because lots of it felt like Predator fanfic from a 15 year old, but the world they made felt derivative of video games and it got me thinking what a Metroid movie could actually be like.

Then I see they potentially did 15 year old fanfic for Metroid Prime 4...

FACT Mag is ending its legendary mix series, at 940!, and I have absolutely fond memories of the series in the late 2000s/early 2010s. Been going through some from that era and this two part excursion into jungle from Mark Pritchard is particularly relevant again soundcloud.com/180fact/mark...
