And, for those who like dog whistles (sorry Megyn Kelly), we're quickly reaching the "better in an orphanage than with some queers" part of the fascism.
Would children be better off in the foster care system than in a loving home with same-sex parents? Adoption and foster care are for children. They are the clients, not adults. Whenever possible children should be placed with a married mother and father, so they can receive the benefits that come from a male and female parent. If a heterosexual married couple is not available, social workers must make a decision based on the child's best interest.
