Part of this is related to imperial enforced poverty, part to environmental contamination (both past and present), and part is lack of access to healthcare and education that can act to prevent these issues.

"Land back" isn't just spiritual, it is physical health too.

Make sure to become crab in only certain designated places. It's recommended not to use certain perfumes and deodorants after becoming crab. Crab is not for everyone.

There is no real way to fully atone, but refusal to start that work on the grounds of imperfection is just a continuation of abuse. This isn't just talking about it, either. Nebulous plans mean nothing. Charity is just a start to necessary structural change.

Quick game pitch though. The plot is to eat, drink, and relax in an off-camera actual play where a select, invite only audience (or none at all) of your choosing sees you at your raw and most personal.

We're all talking about the autism bicycle and medical frymblal (using a mutant m), but I'm really wondering what Mom and kiddo are doing with the "K9: scom" at a doctor's office.

Would you happen to have a link to a (non-Amazon) digital copy for purchase?

I mean, no, but yes. In his mind, all flavor (physical and cultural) must be converted to a bland, white, colloidal mass that rapidly rots the millisecond it comes out of the fridge

The flip side of this is that you discover an enormous world of good folks doing amazing work on the margins. Work that could never have been done had corporate machines enveloped them in order to sell it to the widest, least critical audience possible.

Anime isn't the only failure in this respect. In fact it's the norm. Kpop and virtual slavery of performers. WWE (both before and after the Saudi buyout) and misogyny. BBC and transphobia.

It's a lonely place to boycott so much, but fans and developers need to understand the harm they perpetuate.

10000% this.

We can't be anticolonial if we're blind to the colonial storytelling of East Asia. Japan fully colonized Korea and did grevious harm to the people of Korea that is still being unpacked 70 years later.

Hyper-simplification of "Asianness" as Anime is why I stopped consuming Anime.
