I've said it before but a lot of Americans do not see things that impact our health (healthcare costs, the inadequate pandemic response, the attack on public health via MAHA, lack of access to vaccines) as things worth protesting - and I hope that changes

And if/when I get kicked off of Medicaid, it is now even less likely I'll be able to afford health insurance than it already was

I don't trust people hellbent on dehumanizing people who live in red states, rural voters, and voters without college degrees

You can dislike people and still believe they shouldn't starve !! That is not a radical opinion. It's also true that while it shouldn't actually matter, not every poor person in a red state voted for this, and why are you ok with kids starving just because they live in a red state?
