Seems mad that it’s taken until now for two former winners of the European Cup, Red Star and Steaua, to meet for the first time ever in European competition
With expansion to the WSL this makes a lot of sense though, with the league as it is, it pretty much hands the trophy to whichever of the Big 4 doesn’t qualify for Europe.
Clubs competing in the UWCL next season will not be allowed to participate in the League Cup. Was voted on by the clubs

Guys, before we all get pearl-clutchy about this, remember: if he’s available, Portugal start with him. They are also considerably more shit when they have him playing.
Cristiano Ronaldo has magically had his ban reduced so he can start the World Cup. There is no precedent...but then he met the President. How depressing...
