Random game of the day....
Son of Blagger - Alligata - BBC Micro
Very odd game, doesn't quite match up to 'Blagger'. Even on the Beeb, it struggles doing all that Mode 2 scrolling.

Didn't know until doing a disassembly that if you press the up arrow and space after loading your can advance levels.

That's it, their size is a bit of a pain depending if they're walking, climbing or eating grain!

The sprite data has changed a bit from this image - I'm not masking a black outline around them anymore, plus I've ditched the bottom left eating grain set ! Still loads of pesky geese sprites though! 🤯

Ooh, found a new bug !
While on a ladder, Harry can jump straight up, fall off the bottom of the ladder and plummet to his death.
That's fine, just a sprite bodge left on the screen as he does so.

It's the only time Harry actually 'moves', I've forgotten to adjust part of the Harry plot proc !

Back on the DUCK, which was a bit too fast if you recall.... Well, I doubled the DUCK orbit table, now she's far too slow, you can nearly ignore her ! Looks way too ponderous when on the sides of the screen too......

Doesn't really reflect the instant panic of Level 9 of Chuckie Egg ! 😅

So, having the control set option on the instructions page is fine, would help if I reflected the choice within the game scroller ! 😅

This was more of a pig, as a lot of the scroller text is pre-compressed, so couldn't patch it after loading. A lot of data rejigging, but it's all done ! 🙄

The flu still lingers, but just started again with Chuckulus.... Found a bug that I swear wasn't there when I got ill. What's the 'GO!' bubble doing over there ??! 🙄

Put in a key control set option, so you can choose between 'ZX:/ RETURN' and '<>AZ SPACE' to control Harry ! Which would you choose?

I need to do yet another run through of this ! It remains my favourite show in general, and I suspect nothing will ever take it's place.

Even the 'lesser' episodes I notice something new on every re-watch.

I just couldn't resist, and had to attempt my own copy of your stuff, so I can stare at it all day! 😎😅

It's not quite right, as there's grain artefacts lying around, they even break through the lines too. 256 grains of sand (in theory, I haven't counted them) 😂

After 64 ball plotting procedures ( LDA#absolute ball sprite bytes, and not plotting blank sprite bytes), I'm back up to 27 !
🤯

The bouncing proc is still totally borked, time to look at that next !

About 1 page of free memory left ! 😅

These bouncing balls are either 8x8 or 16x16.... There's 16 of them, but I'm only handling 8 of them per pass ! No double buffering...... at the moment.... ?!
