Even some of Tenet’s right-wing stars wondered why it existed. Now, a new federal indictment claims it was a Russian propaganda operation.

If we lose NOAA we lose much of our ability to track and predict severe weather phenomena in enough time to organize evacuations and make plans to shelter in place.

Entire communities will be left vulnerable to increasingly devastating storms and people WILL die.

To review, the FAA administrator was forced out because of a business vendetta of Elon Musk’s, Trump froze the hiring of new ATCs despite staff shortages, Musk launched an underhanded attempt to hollow out the whole federal workforce, and then the first US airliner crashed in 16 years.

This is what revisionist history looks like, in real time. And this also is why it might appear that archaeologists and historians have to dig deep to discover the existence of powerful women and marginalized groups -- because their legacies are so often erased.

What is common knowledge in your field but shocks outsiders?

1. Author royalty rate is 7.5% on paperbacks but that's not of RRP, it's of PRICE RECEIVED as in what the bookseller has paid for the book. So eg a £7.99 book could net author only 29p per copy. (Or less.)
