decided to do that thing professionals do and remove the fine tuners except the high E today
mfs were scratching the shit out of my fingertips and i have no issue tuning with just the pegs atp which is faster…and it looks cool
u leave it on the E bc it’s more sensitive/requires more precision

i am so glad i got out of the scratchy ear-grating phase of violin quickly
focused really hard on achieving a pleasant tone before anything else and recently i feel more confident in operating on muscle memory for that

the point is to assign a name to each scale note but like…we already have that with numbered scale degrees or tonic/mediant/dominant/etc
