People claim it's just a soap or no big deal regarding Tessa and Daniel, but last year, Billy targeted Devon, Lily, and Nate with subtly biased remarks to gain control. Even Victor spoke similarly to Lily. IMO, this headwriter wants to whitewash this soap. #yr

It’s not about who has chemistry but the optics of this story. If you want to openly ship this and disregard the feelings of your followers of how offensive it is by the headwriter, we may gladly mute, unfollow, or block so to not see it in our feeds. #yr

A character falling for someone who's married is standard operating procedure on a soap. What's disgusting is Daniel falling for an out lesbian & them kissing. Marital status isn't respected on a soap but a character's sexuality should be.

Tessa and Daniel’s scenes could have been a good friendship story but in Josh Griffith’s sick head, he’s made it a love story, spitting in the faces of those who ship Teriah. I’m not a shipper of Teriah but their presence was needed on #yr and I feel bad for their fans.

The Shick in LA story feels hollow because Noah isn’t even onscreen and talking yet. But we are getting good scenes by SC and JM. It’s the same with CG and RW. But the problem will always be JG’s need to let the talent drive the weak storytelling. #yr

Daniel should have exited after Sharon’s story with Heather concluded but then they kept him on and in a very weak story involving Tessa and Mariah. If they needed to milk a story out of him this year, it should have been a business collaboration with Sally or Chelsea. #yr

#yr is so bad right now, at this point complaining episode counts is fruitless if there is no story to discuss. This pattern where no effort is being made between talent introductions and plot points is not how you should manage soap storytelling. No other soap does this.

I don’t really have sympathy for Daniel. He constantly enables his mother and cheated on Lily when she was away tending to her traumatized daughter. Danial chooses to be unemployed and miserable. Tessa is just another person in a steady stream of women, being his life coach. #yr
