I live in Washington State. We’ve had our Death with Dignity Act in place since 2009. What you’re describing does not happen and it’s fucking offensive to use it as a scare mongering tactic.

Silver is trash, but in fairness to him he’s not a pollster (he was and is an aggregator and averager of polls) and his model was one of the few that showed Trump having a decent shot at winning.

They also enjoy it because they get to be with their rider. Horses form close connections with the people who ride them and get a lot of social fulfillment out of being with their people (like dogs and cats and other domestic animals)

I just want to point out Kathleen is wrong and the horses do this through lots of training and seem to enjoy it (it lets them think and be active)

For real. The reason no one is talking about Clinton is that Clinton isn’t in currently in power. We can throw Clinton in prison too, but I’m not super concerned about him doing anything reckless to defend himself as he has no power to do so.

Because he has no personal objection (literally doesn’t care either way) and his administration has (correctly) sussed out that this will be a good win for them. And, speaking apolitically, they need a win at the moment.

The only person he has loyalty to is himself. His cabinet and staff are fools if they’re counting on pardons. He may do so, he may not, but I wouldn’t assume they’re a lock (or even if they happen, everyone gets one).
