So who thinks that the guy who drives like the Dog in the Manger and never gets penalised for it, and has the least to lose, is once again going to drive like... that and get away with it?

A very serious motoring journalist once told me that car manufacturer PRs don't care about games and he'd never even heard of such a thing.

Anyway:

I know that it's people, but I genuinely can't grasp how people are trying to buy the left thing and thinking it's the right thing.

Seriously, how are they trying to buy the named thing and - in at least needing to take mittens off numbers on GTP alone - buying the thing that isn't called that?

As a quick reminder heading into the festive season, the earliest known instance of Whamageddon in the English-speaking world was GTPlanet in 2010. We've switched to the ApoCareypse since 2019 (it seemed a respectful distance from GM's death), and it seems others are catching on to this now too...

As an Englishman, I've got a project car, a project extension, a garden project, a garage project, an office project, and a loft project.

All of them are brilliant. None of them are finished, nor likely ever will be.

Anyway, about Project Motor Racing...

On a quick news scan, I've not seen any explanation for how this EVppm scheme will be logged and (given the obvious potential for fraud) enforced. Anyone?

Can't remember who owns AutoTweetup on the other site, but they're now apparently a Turkish gambling addict. Of course there's no way for third parties to report this...

All I want to know is if we get to find out what happened to Destiny, #Stargate

Oh look, another press office/PR team caring about being in racing games. And to think I was told that never happens... 🦕

So we're not doing phrasing any more?

Yet another frustrating week which can best be summed up by this image.

Just twigged after a couple of years why my daughter's dog-nannycams irk me. They look like EVE in fancy dress as Kenny.

With regards the "too bright headlights" DfT review, the worst I've ever experienced was the blue strobe on an oncoming cop car on the dualled A19 late at night. I had almost no vision for a solid two seconds.

While they do need to be more visible, I don't think anyone needs 70mph laser surgery.

It's weird how all the FA's punishments for owners being ****s hurts the club and fans but not the owner. Still, with Kim Jong Tuna effectively out of the way now it should clear the path for all the prospective new owners who noped out of dealing with him. Right?

Weird choice of Morrisons to play the Time Warp on in-store radio at 1pm on a Saturday, but I'm fine with it.

Anyone ever had a night of sleep so bad that in the 90 minutes of actual sleep you had a dream about having an entirely different bad night of sleep?

These ads have been scraping the barrel for some time, but this one's scraped clean through the bottom, the planet, and the bottom of a second barrel positioned on the antipode.

Apparently it's International Podcast Day, so you may as well go watch our latest one on GT7 Spec III, Update 1.63, and 100m units, Forza Horizon 6, and the recent GTWS event in Berlin...

As I read through hundreds of articles a day constructing SpeedBites, I just have one question: where have all the proof-readers and sub-editors gone? Even massive outlets are just lousy with errors, not just in the articles but in the headlines too.

This was a riot to drive, even if it was virtual and I had to do it in front of a live audience. If any commissioning editors want words, hmu.
