hey friends it’s MOMB. we had an emergency situation and had to evacuate the apartment we were staying in.
i took Tortilla to my mom’s where i will be sleeping until i can find a new apt. but… my mom said Tort cannot stay here with me. Tort is in the garage right now in her carrier screaming :(

Happy 6th birthday to my baby girl, Nevi! Once a garage cat who was used to sleeping in anything she could find, always a cat that sleeps in anything she can find. 😂

Day 1 vs. Day 41

Lady Bianca came in as a tiny girlie pop who wasn’t feeling great and had been found with an unresponsive sibling. She spent 2 weeks on SQ fluids and then finally began to flourish.

Today is Spay Day! Tomorrow she goes to her forever home! Hooray for kittens! 🎉😻

This is the face of a little kitty girl who got an adoption hold today! She goes in for her spay surgery on Monday and can go to her new home as early as Tuesday. She’ll have an 18-month-old fur sibling to play with and a mama who will love her to bits. I’m so excited for her!

Occasionally, they let me name kittens at the shelter. I had some fun with this litter. Meet Floofington, Floofville, and Floof City. 😻😂

Folks, if your library doesn’t have a book you want to read, ask them to buy a copy. Most have a convenient form and will let you know when it comes in. If your library offers ILL, they can even borrow books from other libraries.

if you are food insecure for both the humans and pets in your household there is a tool called Pet Help Finder that can help locate pet food banks nearby and other free or reduced price assistance and supplies for pets.
no one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, should have to give up their pet bc of this.

My #fosterkitten is doing well. She’s been with me for 2 weeks. She’s finally eating without support and gaining weight regularly. She is now 6 weeks old.

Her name is Lady Bianca Meowington and she is perfect!

She’s starting to play more. Here she is playing with her brand new fish kicker toy.

I got to see newborn kittens today! One of the cats at the shelter gave birth to 4 little beans yesterday after I left. Every time I visited her kennel today and informed her of how cute they were, she blinked at me like “Duh! I made them and I only make cute ones!” 😻
A gray tabby cat is looking at the camera through her kennel door. Her pupils are huge because she’s not a fan of paparazzi taking pictures of her kittens. A very blurry photo of what appears to be a blob of kittens on a pink blanket. It was all I was able to take before mom came back from having her lunch and informed me she didn’t want any more photos taken. Also, my phone did not want to cooperate with zooming in.

Sheep, goats, pigs, birds, and many other animals love pumpkin! If you have intact pumpkins after Halloween or jack o'lanterns that are carved but not painted or rotting and don't have candle wax inside, contact your local farm sanctuary to see if they would like them as donations!
