San Clemente. I recognized every external location in this movie. And if you watch it, you will know everything about my surroundings and the types of kids I was around from 5th grade through 9th grade (although I was surfing a lot, which wasn't shown in the film).

Furthermore, revenue sharing is based on revenue increasing EVERY YEAR. Let's use the hypothetical in the CBA as an example. Let's say the 2019 Revenue is $10M. The 2020 Revenue target is therefore $12M. (2019 plus 20 percent). Let's say the league scorches past that and makes $14M. That's a $2M overage. 30 percent of that goes to cost of revenue. The players get fifty percent of what's left. So the players all split $700k more between them (over $4800 per player assuming 144 players). In 2021 the Cumulative Revenue target is now $26.4M. Let's say the revenue holds steady in 2021 at $14M. Cumulative revenue is $28M ($14M in 2020, $14M in 2021). So the overage is $1.6M ($28M minus $26.4M). Because that's less than the prior year overage of $2M, the players get no revenue sharing out of it. Doing the math, even one bad year during the upcoming stretch massively cripples revenue sharing for the players.

Here's how the Revenue target is calculated. So the target is assumed based on a 20% increase in revenue year-over-year. It's cumulative, so the revenue sharing for any given year isn't just based on the revenue for that season, but EVERY season from 2020 on.
