Notoriously clumsy, AuDHD, loves cooking, mum of 2 munchkins. She/her. Not a stander by of nonsense.
It feels a bit pathetic as a thank you, but I’m still imagining they are at best a fiver for a big box 😂

I have no idea what a family present is other than a biscuit box or a bottle of wine… I don’t know if they do either 😂

Also what if m is the only one that’s not got gifts for everyone?!

I always hated him and the fact he did Children’s books. It gave me the ick and then I heard how he wrote about people in such derogatory ways in them - so I was sure he was icky…

Also do I buy a family present? Like to say thanks? As well as individual ones?

Never feel more “authentically autistic” when I’m trying to decipher whether people mean what they say or not, or is there a secret option C I’ve not considered?! 😭 😂

Haha, maybe it’s a generational thing, it just feels… polite?

The call is 7 minutes late and I cannot breathe but the second it rings I will still let it ring twice so I don’t look desperate to answer 😂

That report will ensure that secondary school have a framework to work with, recommendations and ultimately if she can’t ’cope’ in mainstream secondary, it will help potentially access support for it, or other options…. Not that there are many. But that’s a problem I can’t solve 🫣😬

Just as an example: yesterday a fire alarm went off at school unplanned (someone set it off it turns out) and it was a huge trigger. She came out of school early. The assessment picks apart loud (or any triggering) sounds, what it is about them, and details it all in a thorough report.
