This should all be treated as proceeds of crime and action taken accordingly.

It’s one thing not to stop this kind of advertising but to profit from it as absolutely unconscionable.
"[Meta] revealed in internal documents rhat around 10 per cent of its annual revenue comes from advertising placed by fraudsters. This equates to $16 billion a year in annual revenue"

Last night I stayed in a hotel and woke up this morning to find I had forgotten my hairbrush and was forced to brush my hair with the complementary travel toothbrush provided in the bathroom.

The day has not improved since.

Praise where praise is due: scrapping the two-child benefit cap is an excellent move. And the most consequential of any of the measures announced today.

The thing is, for Farage the man no longer to be what Farage the boy apparently suggested he was, we would have had to see some evidence of a change, not a career built around fomenting xenophobia and racism and allying with others who did the same.

OfS' CEO today: "The closer you get to a crisis point as an institution, the less concerned you might be about future regulatory action for not cooperating with the regulator. So that makes our tools and our ability to drive student protection planning limited in some scenarios.”

Imagine writing the last two sentences of this and actually thinking that is a state of affairs to which we should aspire.

What is wrong with him.
‘It is hard to imagine that taking place in Britain.’
That’s some weaselly way of saying that he rather likes the idea of racialised fear as an instrument of state.

The absolute sense of supremacy and entitlement to think you can say stuff like this *and* be the one who decides whether it is hurtful or not.
Asked again and again whether he ever racially abused his fellow pupils, as 20 people at his old school have now said he did, Nigel Farage will only say that he never did so in a "hurtful way" or "with intent"

What is astonishing about this is that I recall very clearly that our business like many others started to voluntarily cut events and meetings before from mid-March and we as a family started to isolate a bit. So the position could have been even worse if individuals hadn’t taken these mitigations.
Bringing in lockdown a week earlier on 16 March would have meant 23,000 fewer deaths in England in the first wave, modelling suggests. This would have equated to 48% fewer deaths in the first wave.

Can we at least stop with the b*<#%cks that this country is still open, tolerant and generous. The nauseating hypocrisy needs to end.
"Mahmood said a raft of tough immigration controls were designed to unlock “the inherent openness, tolerance and generosity” of the British people."

Such nauseating shamelessness.

The moral the rest of us should draw from this is that unless you are willing *never* to disagree with Trump, supporting him will not protect him from turning on you. So don’t bother pandering to him in the first place. Fight him *stares hard at the BBC*

Refugee means the life you had built & cared about has been ripped from you through no fault of your own. Our official policy is going to be to repeat that process years later, sending them back to rebuild again. Not a single one of us would want to be in that position. Why vote for it for others?
"The moment your country is safe to return to, you will be removed", a Home Office source said.

An obviously false claim - a deportation fantasy - to over-spin "send them back" claims to the media

Whatever the merits of the policies on Monday, some of this OTT language is beyond any defence.

This is an absolutely chilling read.
