Ignoring the extremely difficult to calculate air resistance factor, the only thing that *might* save him is the spreading and deflection of the impact over time as he falls. Otherwise, it would have enough force to theoretically pass fully through 2 or 3 skulls before stopping.

Technically, yes, though with a lot more space in between, so it doesn't *quite* look right, either. But regardless, that was my immediate assumption.

I know there would be too many engines, but I legit thought this was a B-17 Flying Fortress.
