Finally, the tapewormgirl vtuber is coming true

Laughing about small penis sizes is usually kinda shit, but I can't claim the word "Microsatelite" didn't pass through my head.

I am confused. How is it cheaper? Developing for ios was several times as expensive for us, with the risk of not being able to make delivery on time due to app store schenanigans. Sorry for reacting to the wrong thing, I was just really surprised at that sentiment.

Oracle made it radioactive. The actual language is fine, but the threat of litigation from Oracle lead to migration. Nobody wants some coworker accidentally installing the Oracle JVM instead of openjdk and suddenly the company is on the books for millions in license fees.

Now *that' is true. The evangelism is exactly the same. Our programming teacher had a light in his eyes, and the coursework was almost in awe of the language to the point that we used to joke that we should stand next to the christian folk in the park preaching as them on a box.

Nah. Java is significantly less of a pain in the ass to deal with. Rust just has some absurdly good features over Java, and Java has gone to rot after C# entered the scene :').

Never proven. Was just a joke.

Then someone made a youtube video *making* a buttplug cheating device.

I need to learn best practices, because hoo boy, rust programmers I have watched refactor their entire program every 15 minutes <-- only slightly overstating things

Both mood (for similar things), but also give yourself a .. pat on the shoulder for talking about it. It's *incredibly fucking important*.

And don't get me started on chrome's security architecture. Yes, it eats memory like there is no tommorow. But at some point using browsers like firefox feels like having sex with no protection. Not noticably different, and doubts lasting for weeks.

I swear to god I don't understand *why* it's so much better. I compile webkit, I can get it down to 20mb's compressed no problem. I compile chromium, and oh god it's at *least* 200mb's. Why are they so different?

All in all sub 30 minutes entering to leaving though, worth it

Didn't wind up finding them in any of the servers I moderate, but nuked preemptively since we are so adjacent. I hope they wind up moving on, you shouldn't have to deal with this.

Technically, that could still have been true, given.. the circles we are in. Not naming names. Now that it's been clarified though, we can skip over that ;P.

Right? I also recommend this as a genuine trolling tactic to anyone sending dm's. Going "I am from the 4chan generation. I expect better trolling than this. Perhaps find another hobby you are better at?". It makes them have a meltdown.

Learning to not feel vile over being angry was such a boon to my mental health. Anger can be perfectly healthy and reasonable.
And *healthy* anger leads towards working towards a world where you don't need to be angry.

I just checked it out. At the point where jsonnet is, why not just straight up integrate javascript. javascriptcore is 'only' 20 megabytes.
