I'm so glad dealing with the petty bullshit of landlords is behind me.

I had a landlord try to bill us for the disposal of a fridge. That had come with the property, was listed as a feature but "was bought by a previous tenant so if it fails it's not my problem to deal with".

Kensington & Chelsea has over half the houses at £1M+. Despite the deprived areas and even more of London with 1/3+ selling for that much.

Its going to skew opinions if those are where the national journalists are living, or the analysts, or the politicians or enough of their friends.

My partners experience of a 3 year full time computing PhD was wonderful for the research and development. Then the final writing started and it was ok. Then they started a job a month from the end and it may have been the worst 4 weeks of their life. I took over keeping them alive and half sane.
