I came out at 24. I broke up with my gf at the time. Got evicted from my apartment. My family accepted me as I am now. They helped me bounce back financially.
I am now 33 years old.

My first time sharing it with someone was at 16. From that point on I was openly gay in school but didn't tell my mom until senior year (which I put off because I didn't think it would go well... and then it didn't!)
