All right, so, #AEW folks, I've a question I've been pondering. Brody King is obviously as hot as he's ever been, and I think the groundswell for a potential title switch is genuine. But does the show being in Australia hurt it? Anywhere in the US, I'd so go for it, but I dunno if it works abroad.

I don't read as much as I wish I did lately, but anytime there's a new Dresden Files book, it's an instant read. God I've missed this franchise, god I love this franchise, and holy shit does Twelve Months speak to me in a lot of powerful ways that it wouldn't have a few years ago. Stellar book.

The First Berserker: Khazan is the most fun I've had with a Soulslike since Elden Ring. It's such an interesting take on it, mixing in so much Character Action style and flair. Loving it so far. Bosses are brutal, but never feeling unfair (so far). I know nothing of DNF, but this game rocks so far.

World's End continues to be the worst #AEW PPV. 0/3 on good World's End shows. A one match show with Fletcher/Mox, everything else was middling or worse, the main event (not result, just ring work) was exceptionally sloppy. So much toothless booking. 4/10 kinda show.

World's End is cursed, and this show proves it. Mostly boring matches, a lot of baffling booking choices, and they really just need to never use this branding ever again. New end of year PPV next year because three years running the shows have been utterly mediocre or worse. #AEWWorldsEnd

I firmly believe World's End as an event is cursed, and Okada/Takeshita and how that turns out is really gonna determine if they can break the curse or not, imo. 🤼

So, now that I've had a few days for Winter is Coming to settle, I've got a few bugbears I want to talk about.

Dynamite looks very good tonight, the most interesting match to me is Claudio/Mox, because we need some triggers pulled on the various Chekov's guns, but I'm most looking forward to the women's tag match. We know what to expect from them, and I'm sure they'll meet those. Let 'em main event.

I'm never afraid of admitting when I'm wrong, and *goddamn* AEW made the back-to-back Blood & Guts matches work. Stellar work from all involved. I still think the builds weren't great, but the action in both matches was absolutely sensational, and the storytelling and threads within both matches...

So I know I'm several days late, but like, AEW's new National championship is a terrible idea. We're all in agreement? That was *literally* the International title's gimmick when it was first introduced as the All Atlantic title. That gimmick lasted one reign, and then it was just another belt.

AEW has really gotta cut out this two preshows nonsense. Needlessly confusing and they're literally competing with each other for no reason. Why they changed from their previous format of preshow matches interspersed with hard sell segments, I will never understand.
