We're saying goodbye to Libby tomorrow. I will be absent for a while. I don't do hugs or rainbow bridges or anything. Just please hug your pets, foster/adopt, and be kind to rescue/shelter volunteers.

Mum took some puppies from a guy, she kept one and found a home for the others. I puppy sat. Rodney was thrilled with his new friends.

As promised, here are some old pics of Rodney Ballsnomore.

He was almost a year old when we found him (he was very dehydrated and sick, but trying to make friends with horses). He'd clearly been handled but not an indoor cat so he tried to play with things that are not toy-shaped--like scissors.

He's been so happy and normal-ish today and these two love to snuggle--here's an older pic but Ninja's just so cuddly with everyone that Rodney often ends up nestled and/or spooning with him.

(Did I say everyone said that? No. Is there is a pattern of supposed progressive Dem-voters who want to let "red" states and children of red voters burn? Seemingly!)

Me, all night: omg Rodney’s got a round belly, he’s put on weight, what if it’s ascites, the vet said that was how the cancer would progress, omg I’m going to lose my cat.

Rodney: Fuck you, cancer, I’m gonna eat myself back to my baseline weight and get gold stars from the vet.

We’ve had a couple of things I think are more from the flare up of the URI rather than the cancer, I’m monitoring and adjusting doses of stuff, BUT I just panicked and went through the apt because I couldn’t find him and thought he went off to die…and he was sleeping behind my open laptop. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Still doing okay considering! URI is flaring up a bit, expected with pred, so dropping that to every three days to see if the URI eases but he still feels good. (I just want him to be comfortable so it’s a lot of trying to find the balance.)

So I was prompted by INaudio to fill in a survey about my opinion on their feedback. I did and said I was sent a form letter that did not answer the second part of my question (why they're not proactively notifying people to check their titles). Apparently it's not anonymous because I just got this.
Hi Skyla! Thank you for the feedback, however as I previously indicated, in response to your questions, we are working diligently internally and with Libro, for them to re-publish your titles on their platform. When are received your email we promptly escalated to both the Account Management and Retail teams. We do not know which titles they choose to take down and when until we are informed by the author.
